Tailstar

An epic saga of mysteries and legends at the far end of the cosmos.

Prologue

The Signal and the Silence

Long before Zippy’s descent, long before the flicker of the Tailstar reached curious eyes beyond the stars, there was a time when Glitteron thrived beneath quiet stewardship. Hidden beneath its vibrant forests and crystal-lined caverns, ancient mechanisms pulsed with life—attuned to a balance only a few still remembered. Sky Mirrors once shimmered across the land, reflecting not just light, but decisions, memories, and echoes of a system built to endure.

But something had changed.

The system designed to regulate the planet's energy had been locked. Not failed—locked. Someone, or something, had deliberately severed Glitteron from its cycle of renewal. Over time, the signs grew faint. The mirrors cracked. The symbols faded. And the few who remembered? They became watchers, bound not by rule but by purpose. They became the Order.

They waited. They debated. Some feared that reactivation could unravel what little stability remained. Others believed that inaction would doom the world to slow collapse. So they watched.

Until the sky split.

A lone vessel streaked across the upper atmosphere, trailing sparks through violet clouds, drawn by a signal no one else had heard in centuries. The ship crash-landed in the wilds, guided by instinct more than destination. From its broken frame emerged Zippy, a traveler who had seen more wonders than most could dream—and yet, nothing had prepared him for this.

What followed was not coincidence. It was convergence.

Drawn by curiosity, Spark arrived first, his vibrant energy echoing the pulse of the planet itself. Luna soon joined them, drawn by signs in the shifting winds and subtle changes in the ground. Glint came later, guided by logic and the unexplainable rhythm of his bioluminescent scales, which pulsed in harmony with forces even he couldn’t name.

Together, they began to uncover the truth buried beneath moss and stone. A broken recorder. A half-spoken warning. A structure hidden deep below the surface, built by hands long vanished. And a construct, still alive, whispering fragments of what had come before.

The Tailstar was not what it seemed.

As the balance of Glitteron teeters, and ancient safeguards begin to stir, the path ahead remains uncertain. But one truth is clear:

This world was not meant to be forgotten.

And now, it no longer will be.
